Can Luma screen protectors be installed without the EVO machine?

Yes, Luma has a built in seamless pull-tab installation see tutorial here.

How often does the EVO machine need to charge?

We recommend plugging in the EVO machine at the end of each day so you are never without charge, however, EVO will support up to 110 installations on a single charge. 

If the battery is dead can I still perform an install?

Yes, the EVO machine can be operated wirelessly from the built-in battery or while plugged into a power source.

Does the EVO machine lid need to be closed to perform an installation?

We recommend installing with the EVO lid closed to create a dust-free environment. However, installations can also be completed with the machine lid open.

Is there a way to perform a hard reset of the machine if necessary?

To reset your EVO machine, remove the battery on the under-side of the machine
for 5 minutes then re-install.
